We are a couple and we stayed for more then a week.
The rooms both private and dorms are comfortable, all spacea are very clean. Graet stuff, graet service.
The breakfast is a bit light but ok.
In total great stay!
Montañita hotel is in Poblado but facing a busy road. Although it was clean and the staff helpful it was very hot at night (no AC) so we were struggling to sleep: if you open the windows for the cooler air you can't sleep with the extremly busy road (and even at night it doesn't really get quiet)
My partner and I had a great stay at Montau00f1ita hostal. Put simply: we extended our stay in Medellu00edn, and were devastated that we weren't able to go back here!
The hostel has lovely common areas, and a well appointed kitchen, with microwave. All of the hostel is kept incredibly clean, in particular the shared bathrooms, which are (somehow) always spotless. The staff are wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful!
The private room can be a little warm, however, and the beds have plastic covers.

I stayed in one of the private rooms fresh from a 30 hour flight. It was perfect for what I needed. Friendly staff, awesome location close to the main area of cafes/restaurants/clubs. Would definitely recommend
It was a very good deal and a great place to stay. I got the ensuite room with my own bathroom. It was very clean and quiet at night. My only 2 concerns were 1) the bed was only provided a sheet and no blanket. 2) There is not a person available at the desk 24 hours a day. If you need to get in past 11:00pm, they provide you with a code. It worked for me; however, I could easily see how someone might loose it and could get locked out. They could at least provide a phone # available hours.

Stayed in a private room for one night only. Hostel was okay, but nothing special, especially if you are looking for somewhere to meet people. Everything was clean, our room was right by reception so had to walk past in our towels after showers etc. Good location but not the most social. Good place for an in between stay if you need somewhere convenient.
